About Adventureland

Our History

Adventureland is a leading UAE indoor entertainment facility, a themed attraction park known for its distinctive, awe-inspiring rides, family-friendly atmosphere and an environment designed to heighten kids’ imaginative natures. Since it first opened its doors in 2002, the park has welcomed leisure-seeking customers looking for premium entertainment. A major mall anchor at Sahara Centre, the popular Sharjah retail and lifestyle destination, Adventureland initially covered 60,000 square feet of floor space, which houses such signature attractions as the indoor roller coaster and elevated train. Adventureland has now added another 10,000 square feet of features to its entertainment portfolio, offering exciting first-time rides in the UAE, including the Motocoaster, an amazing, gravity operated roller coaster; two-level indoor Go Kart track and four-level Soft Play facility. The new attractions deliver their thrills in a unique jungle setting, which provides visitors with a virtual world of tall tree canopies, tribal huts and exotic animals.

Adventureland’s exciting new additions now offer guests a total of 17rides and attractions, over 70 video, simulator and redemption games with fantastic prices, party halls, food kiosks, and a host of other high quality indoor leisure activities. In addition, a toddlers’ play area has been added on the mezzanine level, and is marked for expansion in 2016, due to its widespread popularity. The expanded facility with its increased range of attractions, further cements its status as a world-class entertainment centre and a lead player in the UAE’s leisure industry.

On the other hand, fulfilling an ambition to delivering the Adventureland experience to discerning customers outside of the region, the Adventureland brand was successfully launched in Morocco, North Africa in April 2012. The opening of Adventureland Maroc, a 55,000 square feet complex at Morocco Mall, Casablanca, was the first facility of its kind in the country, with the centre now serving an ever-growing customer base comprised predominantly of families eager to experience the brand’s unique portfolio of high quality entertainment offerings. Currently, Adventureland is actively seeking new locations for future themed attraction parks to open up across the GCC and MENA regions, while at the same time continuing to enhance the marketability, profitability and entertainment values of its renowned name.
